About Yue
As a First Class MSc graduate and current PhD student at Imperial College London, I bring both strong subject knowledge and a serious academic approach to tutoring. I teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of Maths and Physics. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to make learning feel less intimidating and more rewarding.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind Maths and Physics, so they can solve problems confidently and independently. I usually teach through clear explanations, guided examples, and targeted exam practice. Lessons are typically 1 to 2 hours long. I graduated from Imperial College London with a First Class MSc and am now doing a PhD in Computational Materials at Imperial. I teach A-Level Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, including support with more advanced areas such as quantum physics. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-Level students who want stronger subject knowledge, better problem-solving skills, and higher grades.
