About Zac

I'm a 4th-year Maths Masters student at Trinity College, Cambridge where I also obtained my BA with a double first. I was awarded 4 A*s at A level and received medals in the British Mathematical Olympiad. I’ve worked with students preparing for competitive exams like STEP, MAT, TMUA and the UKMT Olympiads, and I aim to make even the most challenging material approachable. My lessons focus on building strong problem-solving skills, developing exam technique, and helping students grow in confidence.

About the lesson

I usually teach in 1–2 hour sessions tailored to your goals. For STEP, MAT, TMUA or Olympiads, we can focus on problem-solving techniques, time-saving strategies, or specific areas you find challenging. I'm also happy to mark past papers or questions you've attempted and give detailed feedback to help you refine your approach and avoid common mistakes.

I found Zac on Superprof when I was struggling to build intuition for GR. He didn't just show index manipulation, but explained the geometric meaning of different objects. That clarity is hard to find. Any student tackling maths would be well helped by him!
