About Gabriele

I am an extremely curious and self-motivated individual, whose logical thinking can be used as a tool when having to solve unexpected problems. I have worked with people from a young age and as a result have gained many skills in customer service, such as patience, communication and time efficiency. From my wealth of experiences, academic and otherwise, I have become a confident speaker, able to express myself with a balance of clarity and assertion, meaning I often procure leadership roles, for example becoming captain of my school netball team for 3 years.

Driven and passionate, I achieve my goals, leading me to receive numerous academic accolades over the years, i.e. one of the highest ‘Math Challenge’ results in my Sixth form. Since coming to the UK, from Lithuania at age seven, I have managed to be the first member of my family to fully complete my GSCE’s, A-Levels and Master’s Degree – facing many challenges along the way.

My set of transferable skills are also very well developed: I hold highly established spoken and written communication skills, gained both through oral presentations about my thesis during my degree, as well as my work with NCS The Challenge; where my team and I participated in a 30-day social project involving raising funds as well as communicating persuasively to ensure the winning sales pitch in a ‘dragons den’ style activity. This also allowed me to gain basic entrepreneurial skills, which can be applied when developing cutting edge products in a diverse environment. Being a highly organised individual allowed me to complete the whole of AS and A2 Further Mathematics in one year, in turn displaying excellently the time management skills that I hold.

About the lesson

I love to try to make lessons fun! I always make sure to have prepared tasks to bring with me to the lessons which we will be able to work through during the lesson. In addition to this I often have homework prepared which should be done before our next session. I also allow the students to ask specific questions they might have, outside of what I have prepared.

My lessons range from 30 mins - 2 hours! This depends on how much help the student needs as well as their level of engagement.

I have over 2 years of tutoring experience in GCSE Maths and Physics, and have helped over 13 students pass their exams with flying colours!

My lessons are suitable for all ages/levels. I am able to teach many different subjects for GCSE including: Maths, Physics, Further Maths, Sociology, Chemistry, Biology, however will only teach A-Level Maths and Physics.
