About Lauren

Hello! I am Lauren, a creative and interactive teacher from London, UK. I have been a private tutor and coach for students in the UK and remotely to various countries in Asia. I have experience teaching KS1-4, GCSE and A-Level, as well as, tutoring English as a language to other students meanwhile. I have graduated University with a first class honours in my undergraduate degree, as well as my masters, so equally feel equipped to help those wanting to improve their University coursework and thinking too. I am a film and story fanatic, so typically I integrate visual and interactive stimuli and activities into the lessons, and will aim to help you to some up with some unique observations of any and all texts you are due to study. Additionally, I am well versed in linguistics and language, so for those needing support in topics relative to this type of material, I can help here also. *Relative Qualifications* DBS Certified Mental Health First Aid *Additional Tutor Info* I am 22, working currently as a remote tutor for students located in Asia and the UK, working simultaneously with a freelance creative company specialising in storytelling, filmmaking, and photography. My ultimate dream in life is to become a film director and established screenplay writer. My undergraduate degree was in English and Drama, and my postgraduate degree was in Storytelling, specifically focusing upon filmmaking and game animation.

About the lesson

*Lesson formats/styles* Lessons are typically devised on a per-student basis, I will work with your current abilities and consider what activities, preparation, and testing you require to improve your grades. Every few lessons there is the probability of short assessments which will be used to continuously evaluate your progress. Likewise, every so often you will receive a review with grades, feedback, and a plan of action. Moreover, homework can also be provided - whether decided as required by the tutor, or if requested by the student/parent themselves.
