About Pernilla
I have a first class honours degree with the OU law school. I came 1st in the year out of 473 students for contract and tort and achieved firsts in all qualifying modules. I have now tutored students for 18 months in law, English and history. I love to help students achieve their study goals!
I tutor in A-Level law, English (KS2-GCSE) and History (KS3-GCSE).

I like to spend a little time getting to know my student’s personality, the type of learner they are and what their strengths/struggles are.
I like to use handouts for tutorials and as a takeaway for future reference. I include a breakdown of principles, cases, statute, etc, using interactive methods to communicate ideas and to assess understanding. I also like to set tasks, quizzes, and sometimes verbal presentations for my student, to build their confidence.
My aim is to continue to assess their development and ensure they are really loving their lessons.
I have held mock exams, provided essay questions, marked and given feedback.
I work hard to ensure knowledge gaps are closed and the student feels comfortable planning/writing essays, revising and taking exams.
