About Deacon
I graduated from Liverpool university with 1st class honours as a Master of Aerospace engineering. Before that I studied for A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry achieving three As and a B (in chem)
I am now a web developer and data science specialist currently working for one of the UK's largest retail banks. I am experienced with a number of computer programming languages including JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL.

I'm the type of teacher who appreciates the fact that different students respond better to different methods of learning - some like to attack problems on their own, others like to see the tutor work through and follow along, some like to understand all of the theory before diving into any problems at all. I like to get to know my students and understand what learning style they prefer and maybe what hasn't worked well for them in the past - often overcoming these blockers is more important than anything in the subject matter itself.
One of the key methods i tend to use is breaking problems down into their smallest components. Problems always seem less scary and more easily manageable this way
