About Viktor

I’m a First-Class Honours graduate in History from UCL, with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed. I recently completed an internship in International Trade at the Department for Business and Trade. This October, I’ll be continuing my studies with a Master’s at the University of Oxford in Russian and Eastern European Studies. My teaching experience includes tutoring undergraduate students at UCL as part of the Academic Mentoring Initiative, where I supported students in developing their essay writing, critical thinking, and overall academic confidence. I also achieved all A* at A-level in History, Politics, and Economics, so I understand the demands of these subjects from both a student’s and tutor’s perspective. I bring a thoughtful, structured, and engaging approach to every lesson. I aim not only to help students improve their grades, but also to spark genuine interest in the subject. Whether you're preparing for exams or tackling a difficult topic, I’ll work with you to build clarity, confidence, and curiosity.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and intellectually stimulating. I believe that the best way to succeed academically is not just to memorise content, but to truly understand and enjoy the subject. I love sharing my passion for History, Politics, and Economics, and helping students see the bigger picture behind what they’re learning. As a tutor, I focus on building critical thinking skills, essay-writing technique, and exam confidence. I tailor each session to the individual — whether that means breaking down complex theories, exploring the historical context of political ideas, or sharpening arguments in essays. Each lesson lasts one hour, and I always aim to strike a balance between depth, clarity, and interaction. I like to ask questions, encourage discussion, and make the sessions feel more like a conversation than a lecture. I was a tutor for undergraduates at UCL as part of the Academic Mentoring Initiative, where I supported students in understanding material and improving academic performance. I also achieved all A* at A-level in History, Politics, and Economics, so I know what’s required at that stage and how to help students meet — and exceed — expectations.
