About Alex
I love to help students learn fundamental problem solving skills in mathematics. I enjoy answering questions with the students, allowing them to find answers, with help as and where it is needed. The students will find this much easier than independent learning, where small stumbling blocks in questions would otherwise render them static, unable to progress with questions.

I like to engage the students with brief introductory material, addressing the requisite knowledge and skills for the topic of the lesson. Then I will go through a few examples, before turning it over to the student to walk through several exam style questions together. Using this methodology, hour long lessons are most appropriate, allowing us to cover all the material and develop comprehensive knowledge in the student.
I have experience with two students, who I have tutored at primary and secondary school levels, covering material ranging over the GCSE syllabus.
My lessons are for any age, so long as they need to learn material at primary and secondary school levels.
