About Alex

With a First-Class Honours degree in Biomedical Sciences from one of the world’s top biological research institutions, I bring an exceptional academic foundation and a lifelong passion for understanding the physiology of the human body, as well as an unwavering zeal for unravelling the mysteries of the human brain, mind, and the depths of human psychology. My journey to academic excellence includes achieving five A-Levels with top grades (A*-A) and excelling in 13 GCSEs (A*-B), reflecting my commitment to mastering challenging subjects. Beyond academics, I have a proven track record of mentorship, supporting university peers during COVID to ease their transition into university life and serving as a university ambassador to guide prospective students and parents with professionalism and care. With a year of tutoring experience and a deep enthusiasm for teaching, I deliver lessons that are not only effective but also inspiring. Outside of tutoring, I channel my creativity as a professional actor and find joy in baking, travelling and reading, which adds a well-rounded perspective to my teaching. Specialising in GCSE and A-Level Psychology and Biology, I offer tailored sessions designed to meet the unique needs of each student. My teaching approach is dynamic and engaging, blending clear explanations of complex concepts with interactive problem-solving techniques to build both confidence and mastery. Lessons are an hour long and can be conducted in the comfort of your home or online, ensuring flexibility and convenience. With a year of proven tutoring experience, I am adept at supporting students aged 14–18 in achieving their academic goals, whether it's excelling in exams or gaining a deeper understanding of the subjects they love. On average, my students achieve remarkable progress, leaping up two grade boundaries and unlocking their full academic potential.
