About Ana

I have over 7 years of experience teaching Guitar to college students, and my lessons are engaging, creative, and practical. I focus on developing technical skills, musical expression, and confidence while making learning enjoyable and rewarding.

I teach chords, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, and songs while breaking down music theory in simple, actionable steps. Lessons also include backing tracks, recordings, and interactive exercises to ensure practice is productive and fun.

Over the past 7 years, I’ve helped students gain confidence, perform publicly, master challenging songs, and explore their creativity. My aim is to make every lesson personalised, inspiring, and highly motivating, helping students grow as musicians and performers.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is student-focused, practical, and based on real-life learning. I believe Guitar is best learnt when students clearly understand how music works in real situations, not just through theory.

I use real-life examples and simple case studies from popular songs, performances, and everyday music situations to help students connect concepts with practice. This makes learning enjoyable and meaningful.

I start by understanding each student’s level, learning speed, and musical interest. Some students learn better by listening, some by watching, and others by doing. I adapt my teaching style to suit their needs while maintaining a structured learning plan. Communication plays a key role in my classes. I explain concepts in simple language, encourage questions, and regularly check if the student is comfortable before moving forward.

Integrity is very important in my teaching. I give honest feedback, realistic goals, and clear guidance on practice routines. I focus on correct techniques, posture, rhythm, and tone quality to build a strong foundation.

Along with Guitar, I also teach relevant subjects such as basic music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and song interpretation. My aim is to help students gain confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.
