About Victoria
I started writing by creating plays and songs, and studied filmmaking and theater. When it came down to it, though, I put myself through college writing for newspapers and magazines, and gradually worked my way up to editor. I've learned I enjoy helping writers develop their voice and their stories. I feel strongly that everyone has a story to tell, and we should be forcing the gates open to new voices, not closing them down or insisting everyone sounds the same.

I like to tailor my approach to each student, so our first meeting might look a lot like me asking YOU questions about what you want to accomplish.
I can recommend a reading list to help develop a voice in genre or platform, but it helps to know what your goal is first.
As for basics like spelling and grammar, I can help design memory aids to help build confidence before a test.
I don't do boring repetition, I try to work on developing understanding.
I see little point in saying "I'll only work with certain ages" - there are adults in the medical field with stories to tell who are far more educated than I but struggle with words. There are kids in elementary school with big dreams who could use a little help, especially given how messy a language English can be. Let me help!
