About Shahrukh

I am a friendly and patient GCSE Maths tutor with a strong background in finance, accounting, and problem-solving.

Having achieved mostly As and Bs in my own GCSEs, I understand what it takes to prepare well, stay focused, and build confidence before exams. My ACCA background and professional finance experience have helped me develop a strong understanding of numbers, accuracy, calculations, and clear step-by-step thinking.

I know that maths can feel stressful or confusing for many students, so my approach is calm, encouraging, and practical. I aim to make students feel comfortable asking questions, even when they are unsure, and I explain topics in a simple way that is easy to follow.

My goal is to help students improve their understanding, strengthen their confidence, and feel more prepared for their GCSE Maths exams. I believe that with the right support, patience, and clear explanations, every student can make progress.

About the lesson

My GCSE Maths lessons are designed to make maths feel simple, clear, and less stressful.

I focus on helping students build confidence by breaking topics down step by step, explaining methods in a way that is easy to understand, and giving plenty of practice until the student feels comfortable. Whether you are struggling with the basics, aiming to improve your grade, or preparing for exams, I will tailor each lesson around your current level and goals.

With my ACCA background and professional finance experience, I understand numbers, problem-solving, accuracy, and how to explain calculations clearly. I bring a calm, patient, and practical approach to every lesson, helping students not just memorise methods, but actually understand what they are doing.

Lessons can cover key GCSE Maths topics such as algebra, fractions, percentages, ratios, equations, graphs, probability, geometry, and exam-style questions. I can also help with homework, revision planning, past papers, and building exam confidence.

My aim is simple: to help students feel more confident with maths, improve their understanding, and make real progress one lesson at a time.
