About Michal
My name is Michal, and I am a rising sophomore at Emory University studying Finance and Applied Mathematics. I grew up in New Jersey, where I discovered my passion for tutoring and working with students of all backgrounds and learning needs. Outside of academics, you will find me on the tennis court, in the kitchen baking, or volunteering with children with special needs, an experience that has deeply shaped my patience and approach as a tutor.
I bring that same care and dedication to every tutoring session. My academic background combined with real experience working with diverse learners means you are not just getting someone who is good at math, you are getting someone who genuinely knows how to teach it.

My name is Michal, and I am a Finance and Applied Mathematics student at Emory University. I have been tutoring math throughout high school and beyond, working with students across a wide range of courses and learning needs, including those with learning differences and disabilities. I believe every student can succeed in math when it is taught the right way for them.
My approach is simple, before we touch the material, I figure out how you learn. Whether you are a visual or auditory learner, I shape my teaching around your strengths rather than forcing you to adapt to mine. Sessions are structured to build confidence first, fill in the gaps, and then progressively tackle harder material at a pace that works for you.
I work with middle school, high school, and beginner college-level students across a range of courses including algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and statistics. If you have struggled with math in the past, that is exactly why you should reach out, let's build a plan that actually works.
