About Sonal

I am Dr. Sonal Chaudhary, a Finance and Accounting educator with a Ph.D. in Finance and over four years of experience in higher education teaching and academic support.

I have worked as an Assistant Professor at DBS Global University and previously as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, supporting undergraduate and MBA-level courses in Finance and Economics.

My expertise includes Corporate Finance, Accounting, Corporate Governance, and ESG. I also bring strong research experience from ABDC-ranked journal publications, which helps me combine academic depth with practical understanding in my teaching.

My teaching style is simple, structured, and student-focused. I use real-world examples, case studies, and step-by-step explanations to make complex topics easy to understand. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, whether for exams, assignments, or concept clarity.

I am currently based in Bahrain and available to teach students globally, helping them build confidence and achieve success in Finance and Accounting.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and concept-focused. I simplify complex topics in Finance, Accounting, Economics and related subjects using real-world examples, case studies, and step-by-step explanations to ensure clear understanding rather than rote learning.

A typical class begins with a quick review of prior concepts, followed by a focused explanation of the new topic using simple language and practical illustrations. I then include problem-solving practice, discussion of real-life applications, and end with a summary and doubt-clearing session. Where needed, I also provide short assignments or practice questions for reinforcement.

What makes my teaching approach different is my strong academic and research background (PhD in Finance) combined with hands-on teaching experience at university level. I focus on linking theory with practice, improving analytical thinking, and helping students build confidence in applying concepts independently.

My classes are suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate students (BBA, B.Com, MBA), as well as anyone seeking support in Finance, Accounting, Corporate Governance, Economics, and related academic subjects.
