About Ilona
I grew up in the vibrant city of Cape Town, but my roots are in the Eastern Cape, in the small town of Butterworth. My upbringing has given me a strong sense of pride, resilience, and appreciation for diverse communities. I am currently a final-year Mechanical Engineering student, a journey that has strengthened my passion for math and science and inspired me to share that knowledge with others. My studies have taught me discipline, problem-solving, and the ability to break down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. Combining my background, values, and academic experience, I strive to support learners with patience, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm.
