About William
When I was in Sixth Form, I took a lunchtime each week to help younger students who were struggling in a variety of subjects. I also tutored dyslexic children from my local area in Maths, as part of a weekly workshop run by a charity. I am now going into my third year of a Mathematics degree at Durham University, and believe I have the knowledge and the passion required to help a student succeed in Maths, wherever they are in their school career.

I have an attention to detail and a thoroughness which have allowed me to achieve high A*s in Maths and Further Maths A-Levels, and more recently put me on track for a high first at university. My experience working with younger children has also helped me to develop a friendly and personable approach to tutoring. I prefer allowing the tutee to work on questions, in order to develop their own problem-solving skills and build confidence, while I support and teach as required.
