About Wian
As an Industrial Engineering student, I have been exposed to advanced mathematics, including calculus and other quantitative subjects, which has improved my appreciation for mathematics. This passion for mathematics has helped me achieve numerous distinctions throughout my academic career.
My tutoring journey began by helping friends in high school understand concepts and prepare for assessments. Since then, I have continued developing my teaching skills through private tutoring, gaining more than 2 years of tutoring experience.
Be assured that our lessons together will be focused and structured on improvement, but it never hurts to have a bit of fun along the way.

As an Industrial Engineering student, I enjoy helping students understand the logic behind problems rather than simply teaching them how to memorise formulae. My teaching methodology focuses on breaking complex concepts into smaller, manageable steps and building confidence through guided practice.
I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and can tutor effectively in either language.
My lessons are best suited for high school learners and university students who want to improve their mathematical capability.
