About Ruby
I am now in my third and final year as a BA English student at Royal Holloway, University of London. I specialise in Medieval Studies and hope to begin a master's degree next September. I took an English Literature A Level, and achieved 9s in my English lit and language GCSEs. I am currently the Editor-in-Chief for our student magazine, which has been running since 1986, and am a published writer and poet.

I like to be inclusive and understanding, as I know that studying literature can be challenging. I aim to help students with reading and understanding the text, alongside teaching them important and valuable context. As we draw closer to exams, we will go through practice papers and create helpful revision tools to tackle the task of memorising quotes. We will remind ourselves of the important objectives and how to make sure we reach all of them, to achieve the best grade possible. I aim to make lessons fun and engaging, and ensure that we go at the student’s pace.
