About Diana
I have been figure skating for over 13 years and currently skate competitively with the University of South Florida. I have experience performing all double jumps and have a strong technical foundation in figure skating skills. In addition to my own skating background, I have over two years of coaching experience working with skaters of all ages. I have taught basic ice skating skills, beginner figure skating elements, and hockey skating skills, focusing on edge control, speed, and confidence on the ice. My coaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I prioritize proper fundamentals and safe progression while tailoring lessons to each skater’s individual goals and learning style.

My lessons are tailored to each skater’s age, level, and goals, whether you are skating for the first time or working on advanced skills. I focus on strong fundamentals referring to the learn to skate curriculum or rules for the level at which the skater is skating in.
A typical lesson starts off with a brief overview of the skater’s goals and what they wish to improve. I can experiment with different explanations, visual demonstrations, and exercises for skill reinforcement to help skaters improve efficiently.
What sets me apart is my experience working with skaters of all ages and my ability to break down complex skills into simple, achievable steps. My lessons are ideal for beginners, recreational skaters, competitive figure skaters, and anyone looking to improve skating skills on the ice.
