About Niyati
I’m a vocal instructor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Choral Conducting with a vocal focus. I specialise in helping artists prepare for studio recording sessions and vocal production. Whether you're into R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, or Electro, I can help you develop the skills needed to record with confidence. Lessons focus on tone shaping, phrasing, vocal compression awareness, and background vocal arrangements. I also guide singers through mic technique and performance delivery in a studio setting. I work with students of all ages, especially teens and adults ready to take their voice to the next level. I teach how to sing with intention, emotion, and clear communication. We also explore what makes a compelling recorded performance. Studio work can be intimidating, but with the right tools and mindset, it becomes an inspiring creative process. I’m here to help you master your sessions and sound your best on every track.

If you want to improve your vocal flexibility, my approach will guide you step by step. I teach singers how to develop clean, expressive runs and smooth transitions. We focus on breath control, clarity, and accurate pitch movement. My lessons include melisma practice, vocal agility drills, and performance coaching. I pay special attention to your natural voice and help you stretch your skills in a healthy way. Singers in harmony-rich or folk-inspired music benefit from my experience in stylised ornamentation. I help you sing quickly without rushing, and emotionally without losing structure. Lessons are fun, challenging, and always grounded in good technique. I use recordings, playback, and visual tools to support your learning. We also practise improvising and refining melodic phrasing. Each student gets personal strategies for overcoming difficult vocal spots. I push my students to refine their technique and bring emotion into even the smallest details. With practice, you’ll glide through complex lines with strength and elegance.
