About Roshan

With a 10 years of professional Guitar teaching experience, I have worked with students of all ages, from school children to working professionals. I believe that learning guitar is not just about playing notes, but also about developing patience, discipline, and self-confidence.

My teaching philosophy emphasises structured lessons, clarity, and steady progress. I ensure students build a solid foundation in chords, rhythm patterns, finger techniques, scales, and music theory before introducing advanced techniques like lead playing, improvisation, and performance training.

Many of my students have performed in competitions, cultural programmes, and live events. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and learning goals, helping them achieve continuous improvement. My mission is to cultivate technically skilled and confident guitarists with a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Guitar is student-centred and practical. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn at their own pace. Clear communication is very important in my classes, and I make sure every lesson is explained in simple and understandable language.

I adapt my teaching methods based on the student’s learning style, whether they are visual, auditory, or practical learners. Along with Guitar performance, I teach Music Theory basics, Chord Theory, Rhythm Exercises, Scale Application, Ear Training, Songwriting fundamentals, and Performance preparation.

I use real-world examples such as studying professional guitar solos and live performances to demonstrate how musical concepts are applied. Students begin with basic techniques like posture, tuning, and simple chord practice. As they improve, they learn advanced strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, and creative expression. I encourage disciplined practice and regular performance tasks to build confidence and skill.
