I specialise in **TMUA and STEP preparation**, helping ambitious students develop the advanced problem-solving skills needed for competitive university admissions.

My teaching approach focuses on deep understanding, logical thinking, and problem-solving rather than memorising standard methods. I guide students to analyse unfamiliar problems, develop effective strategies, and build confidence through structured practice.

My lessons include:

* Careful analysis of past papers and challenging exam-style questions
* Targeted practice using questions similar to problems students commonly find difficult
* Identification and correction of misconceptions and weak areas
* Development of exam techniques, time management, and problem-solving strategies

I have over **20 years of experience teaching mathematics** to students from UK schools and international schools. I have taught students preparing for GCSE, A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, IB Mathematics, TMUA, MAT, and STEP.

Lessons are typically **60–120 minutes**, depending on the student's needs and preparation stage. I teach mainly online using an interactive digital whiteboard, providing an engaging and effective learning environment.
