About Mohamed

With 20 years of experience in international education, I specialise in simplifying complex scientific concepts for students in Grades 5-9. My teaching style is grounded in Inquiry-Based Learning and NGSS standards, ensuring that students don't just memorise, but truly understand the core principles.

About the lesson

My name is Mohamed Mosaad, a qualified and passionate Science teacher with 22 years of professional teaching experience in international schools. I hold a Bachelor of Science and Education degree and have served as Head of Science Department, delivering full English-medium instruction under the American Diploma curriculum for students in Grades 3–9.

My teaching approach is built around active learning and inquiry-based methods. I use real-world phenomena, PhET digital simulations, virtual labs, and interactive visual tools to make Science engaging, meaningful, and easy to understand. I never rely on memorisation alone — I guide students to think critically, ask questions, and truly understand the concepts behind the facts.

A typical lesson runs 60 minutes and follows a clear structure: a warm-up to activate prior knowledge, a concept introduction using visuals and real-world examples, guided practice with ongoing checks for understanding, an independent activity or simulation, and a final wrap-up with key takeaways and next steps.

My lessons are designed for Primary and Middle School students (Grades 3–9 / KS2–KS3) following the American Diploma, British, or any English-medium Science curriculum. I welcome students who are struggling and need patient support, as well as students who are excelling and want to go deeper.

Every session is fully personalised to the individual student's pace, learning style, and goals. Whether your child needs to catch up, keep up, or get ahead in Science — I am here to make every lesson count.
