About Thea

My teaching methodology focuses on making Excel practical and engaging by using real-life examples and case studies. This approach helps students understand how Excel is applied in everyday tasks, projects, and professional settings. I emphasise clarity, step-by-step guidance, and ensuring that each concept is fully understood before moving forward. I encourage creativity and flexibility in learning, allowing students to explore multiple solutions and approaches to problems. Collaboration is also a key part of my teaching, where students learn to work with data, share ideas, and develop problem-solving skills together. Integrity is central to my lessons, ensuring that students gain confidence in their abilities and use Excel ethically. Besides Excel, I integrate relevant subjects such as data analysis, charts, pivot tables, and basic automation techniques. By connecting Excel with these related areas, students gain a deeper understanding and can apply their skills across different fields. My goal is to build both knowledge and confidence, empowering students to use Excel effectively in academics, projects, and real-world scenarios.

About the lesson

With 8 years of dedicated tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of teaching Microsoft Excel to both high school and college students. My passion for education drives me to make learning Excel not just easy, but enjoyable and practical. I focus on helping students gain confidence in data analysis, formulas, macros, and real-world applications, ensuring they develop skills that last a lifetime. Throughout my career, I have guided over 250 students, helping them achieve academic success, complete complex assignments, and excel in projects. Watching students grow from hesitant beginners to confident Excel users has been incredibly rewarding and motivates me to continuously refine my teaching methods. I take pride in creating personalised lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. From simplifying challenging concepts to providing step-by-step guidance on advanced techniques, my goal is to empower students to master Excel with clarity and confidence. I am committed to supporting every learner on their journey towards becoming skilled, independent users of this powerful tool.
