About Mara

I am a Math tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Mathematics. My passion lies in making mathematics practical, engaging, and connected to real-world decision-making. I enjoy guiding students beyond formulas by showing them how concepts can shape strategies in economics and business. One of my favorite approaches is using game theory to explain how people and firms make decisions in competitive environments. I love introducing learners to the elegance of Nash equilibrium and showing how it applies to everyday choices and business negotiations. Alongside this, I bring in linear programming and optimization techniques to help students understand resource allocation and cost minimization in a clear and structured way. I also emphasize cost-benefit analysis, bridging mathematics with logical decision-making that businesses rely on every day. My strength is applying mathematical models to real strategic scenarios, so students not only solve equations but also see their relevance in economics and management. I aim to create lessons that are systematic yet interactive, balancing technical skills with critical thinking. About the lesson

With experience guiding Engineer-in-Training learners and data enthusiasts, I make sure the approach suits practical applications too.
