About Helena
I am a Math tutor with over 5 years of experience and hold an MSc in Mathematics. My passion lies in guiding students to understand numerical methods and approximation techniques with clarity. I specialize in solving equations, integration, and differential equations using computational algorithms. I work closely with engineering students, computer science majors, and those studying quantitative finance. My teaching focuses on connecting mathematical theory with practical applications. I use clear explanations and step-by-step problem solving to ensure concepts are easy to grasp. I encourage students to approach problems with logic and confidence. Lessons combine theory, computational tools, and real-life examples. This creates a strong foundation for both academic success and professional growth. My goal is to help learners master practical tools for solving real-world mathematical problems. I strive to make math engaging, accessible, and relevant to their field of study. Together, we build both skills and confidence for lasting success.

My teaching approach to Maths is relaxed, practical, and designed to make learning enjoyable. I focus on connecting mathematical concepts to real-life applications, especially in coding and computational thinking. I also include related subjects like algorithmic thinking, discrete mathematics for computer science, and understanding computational processes. This helps students see Maths as an essential skill in the digital world.
I use programming analogies to explain complex ideas clearly, making them easier to understand and remember. Lessons are interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and explore different solutions. I blend theory with practical examples to strengthen both understanding and problem-solving skills.
I guide students in building strong logical thinking and analytical skills, which are vital for coding and computational work. I help learners communicate confidently and comfortably about computational problems. This approach builds both their knowledge and their ability to express ideas clearly.
My goal is to make Maths an exciting part of their digital life. This method not only prepares students for exams but also equips them with skills for future careers. I support them in excelling, ensuring they gain confidence and success in their learning journey.
