About Dipra

I’m Dipra Roy, a mathematics tutor with a background in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Agartala. Teaching started as something I did to help students in my locality during college, but it quickly grew into a real passion. Over the years, I’ve seen how the right approach can completely change how students feel about math from fear to confidence. I currently teach students from Grades 6 to 12, focusing on both CBSE and U.S. curriculums. I’ve been associated with Vedantu as a part-time tutor, where I’ve guided hundreds of students through topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. My teaching is rooted in clarity. I believe if a student truly understands the concept, speed and accuracy naturally follow. I adapt my methods to each learner’s needs, making sure they feel supported yet challenged. What I enjoy most is watching students reach that “aha!” moment when a concept finally clicks and they realize math isn’t as hard as it seemed.

About the lesson

My classes are built around one simple idea that, math should make sense. I focus on helping students understand concepts, not just memorize formulas. Every session is structured to strengthen problem-solving skills and build confidence step by step.

I usually start by identifying where the student currently stands their comfort level, speed, and the kind of mistakes they make. Then I design lessons that mix conceptual clarity with practice. For each topic, we go through the “why” behind the concept first, then the “how” through guided examples, and finally the “what if” with application-based questions.

I use interactive explanations, relatable examples, and constant feedback to make sure students don’t just follow along they think independently. My goal is to make them capable of solving unfamiliar problems on their own.

These classes are ideal for school students (Grades 6–12) preparing for CBSE or U.S. curriculum standards. I also help students who want to strengthen their fundamentals before moving into advanced math or competitive exams.

What makes my sessions different is the attention I give to each learner’s thought process I don’t rush through topics. I believe in steady progress, genuine understanding, and helping students actually enjoy math.
