About Chandra Prakash
"Hello! I’m Chandra, a professional Mathematics Consultant with over 9 years of experience. I specialise in bridging the gap between 'knowing' math and 'mastering' it for secondary school students.
Why is my approach different?
Most tutors focus on memorisation, but I leverage my Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) and Master’s in Mathematics (M.Sc.) to teach the underlying logic. My lessons aren't just about solving problems; they are about Diagnostic Remediation.

Identify Root Causes: I categorise student errors as 'Structural' or 'Modelling' to fix the foundation, not just the symptoms.

My mathematics classes are designed for secondary school students who want to improve their understanding of mathematics and achieve better exam results.
Each lesson focuses on building strong conceptual understanding and applying those concepts to exam-style questions. Students learn how to approach problems step by step, structure their solutions clearly, and avoid common mistakes that lead to loss of marks in exams.
Lessons include concept clarification, guided practice, and solving questions similar to those found in real examinations. Particular attention is given to equation formation, multi-step reasoning, and presenting complete answers.
Classes are conducted one-to-one online so that each student receives personalised guidance and support. Regular practice and feedback help students improve accuracy, confidence, and overall exam performance.

Details
Lessons are conducted online in one-to-one sessions so that each student receives individual attention and personalised guidance.
Before starting regular lessons, I usually conduct a short diagnostic session to identify the areas where marks are being lost in exam questions. Based on this analysis, a structured improvement plan is created to strengthen conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and exam technique.
My hourly fee may vary depending on the student’s level, exam preparation stage, and lesson frequency. For best results, I generally recommend at least two sessions per week so that students can build consistency and confidence in solving exam-style problems.
