About Sheena
As a dedicated Kathak dance teacher trained in the renowned Lucknow Gharana, I bring a deep understanding of this classical art form to my students. With a Bachelor's degree in Kathak and 5 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about preserving the tradition of Kathak while making it accessible and enjoyable for all. To me, dance is more than just movement—it’s a way to express emotions, tell stories, and connect with the world. With my expertise and dedication, I promise to guide you in mastering this beautiful art form.

I focus to build on technical foundations in Kathak emphasizing on rhythmic precision, footwork, and expressions with the infusions of storytelling through dance in a way that students connect emotionally with the movement. Warm-up procedures are carried out followed by drills and practicing choreography along with personal feedback. My classes attempt to engross all students into an enjoyable, inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued, and I incorporate modern music alongside traditional dance, making learning dynamic and relatable. Classes are available for all three levels—school children, college students, and adults—interested in Kathak, Bollywood, and folk dance.
