About Ivan

I am an experienced French tutor with 15+ years of teaching experience, working with High School and College students, and I have successfully guided around 150 to 200 students. My teaching philosophy focuses on building strong fundamentals and encouraging consistent progress.

I believe that when students clearly understand the basics, they can move forward with confidence and ease. I take a step-by-step approach, ensuring that each concept is well understood before introducing new topics. I use a mix of structured lessons, practical examples, and interactive activities to make learning effective and engaging.

I also emphasize speaking practice to help students improve their fluency and confidence. One of my key achievements is helping students improve their academic results and develop strong communication skills. Many of my students have shown excellent progress and developed a lasting interest in French.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology focuses on creating lessons that are engaging, practical, and student-focused. I use real-life examples, case studies, and conversation exercises to show how the language is applied naturally in everyday situations. I maintain flexibility, tailoring lessons according to each student’s pace, level, and goals to ensure personalized and effective learning.

Collaboration is central to my approach, and I involve students in discussions, role-plays, and interactive exercises that enhance fluency, comprehension, and confidence.

I also foster a compassionate and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore and experiment with the language. Along with French, I also teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, and cultural awareness to provide a well-rounded and immersive learning experience.
