About Ginele

I am elated to introduce myself as a positive, results-driven, and upbeat individual. With my six and a half years of teaching experience and academic education in applying appropriate teaching and assessment
methodologies that contribute to the development of English language skills, I am readily equipped to be the best tutor you have ever had!

The following are highlights of my skills and accomplishments:

● Earned 84.8% passes in English CXC (Caribbean Examination Council) examination after working with a group of students who had a lower percentile rate of passing. This achievement is noteworthy, because this was my first time preparing students for an external standardized examination.
● Assisted 18 incarcerated individuals to earn their GEDs within 6 months. You can earn yours much faster with my accelerated essay-writing program, but it is ultimately up to you.
● Possess an ability to communicate complex information that students can easily comprehend.
● Equipped with the experience of adopting strategic methods and teaching lessons that readily prepare students with the necessary skills to excel in the real world.
● Highly motivated and enthusiastic about mentoring students while aiming towards character development.
● Possess the ability to work well under pressure to think of innovative ways to assist all learners spontaneously.

About the lesson

Practical teaching is essential for growth. I aim to identify your English weaknesses and work on those skills by laying a strong foundation to understand the concept and practicing through fun drills.

A typical lesson plan includes:

~5 minutes of mentorship (setting goals, affirming our successes and placing our learning and growth in God's hands)

~Mini activity to identify previous knowledge

~Laying down of key concepts

~Hands-on activities to apply knowledge

~Review of such activities

~Revise items and review concepts (where necessary)

~Culminating activity to re-inforce concepts.

I am very dedicated to helping you learn no matter what!

My target groups are:

A. Upper elementary (grades 4-6), middle schoolers (grades 7 & 8), and high school students in need of foundational assistance to perform better in their English classes, and essentially every other class, as English skills are universal and pivotal for success.

B. Adult learners preparing to sit the RLA GED exam and need guidance in writing the argumentative essay, which is worth 20% of the grade.

**The goal is to improve grammar and essay writing skills in a few short weeks.**
