About Alex

I’m a second-year medical student with a Master’s in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Queen’s University, where I graduated with a 3.96 GPA. Over the past six years, I’ve been deeply involved in scientific research and healthcare, developing both a strong academic foundation and a passion for teaching.

I’ve tutored a wide range of students—from high school science learners to upper-year undergraduates—across subjects including biology, chemistry, neuroscience, and health sciences. I also specialize in MCAT tutoring, offering both content review and strategic test-taking guidance.

On my first attempt, I scored in the 90+ percentile range across all MCAT science sections:
• Chem/Phys: 91st percentile
• Bio/Biochem: 95th percentile
• Psych/Soc: 97th percentile

I bring a highly personalized and supportive approach to each lesson, ensuring students gain both confidence and clarity in their understanding of complex material.

About the lesson

All lessons are conducted live on Zoom and are highly interactive. We work together in real time to review content and apply it through practice problems that I provide. Whether you’re preparing for school exams or looking to strengthen your foundation, each session is tailored to keep you engaged and confident in the material.
