About Jorge

I’m a finance professional with 20+ years of real-world experience in financial management, accounting, and business operations. Throughout my career, I’ve managed budgets, analysed financial data, supported business decisions, and applied financial principles in practical working environments. I now bring that experience into my teaching.

I teach Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Investment Appraisal, and Economics, focusing on helping students understand how and why things work—not simply memorise formulas or theory. Lessons combine clear explanations with worked examples, exercises, and practical case studies.

Whether you’re preparing for exams, tackling assignments, or developing professional skills, lessons are structured around your specific needs. My aim is to make complex topics clear, practical, and easier to apply, giving you the understanding and confidence to work independently.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make Accounting and Finance easier to understand, apply and remember.

I break down difficult concepts into clear, logical steps and show you how they work in practice. Depending on your course and objectives, we can work on topics such as NPV, budgeting, ABC costing, regression analysis, linear modelling, financial analysis and other areas of Accounting and Finance.

Whether you are preparing for an exam, working on an assignment, or simply struggling to understand a particular topic, lessons are tailored to exactly what you need. We focus on understanding the reasoning behind the numbers, not simply memorising formulas or theory.

I use worked examples, practical exercises and exam-style questions so that you can apply what you learn independently. My aim is that you leave each lesson not only knowing the answer, but understanding how to get there yourself.
