A Little About Your Tutor: As a high-achieving current year 12 student who has earned the Academic Gold Award and the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, I know what it takes to succeed in school—but I also know learning should be fun! Outside of academics, I bring the teamwork and dedication from my love of sport, the creativity from watercolor painting, and a shared passion for music and movies into my lessons, ensuring we find relatable ways to connect with tutoring. Plus, being a dog lover and owner of 2 little pups means I'm patient and friendly!

My approach to tutoring English reading and literacy is built on the foundations of care and support, ensuring an environment where every student feels valued. I aim to make my teaching specialised to each student’s specific learning improvements, whether in phonetics, comprehension, or foundational writing, and then creating targeted, fun activities to address them! This technique is similar to how I approach my love of netball coaching! My lessons are typically 45 minutes to one hour in length. As a tutor, my experience comes from successfully teaching neighbours, younger student peers and family friend's kids to improve their phonetics and reading ability. My lessons are designed for all students in Year 9 and below who need foundational support in achieving literacy competence and confidence.
