About Clara
I’m a vocal coach with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera. My heart is in helping singers grow in confidence, especially those drawn to contemporary worship and gospel music. I know what it’s like to feel nervous onstage or unsure of your sound, and I love guiding students past those blocks with patience and encouragement. Whether you’re a shy beginner, a teen leading worship for the first time, or an aspiring artist preparing to record, I’m here to support you. I specialize in styles like Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship, and I tailor lessons to meet your unique goals and voice. My teaching focuses on breath control, vocal health, and expressive phrasing so you can sing with freedom and purpose. We also work on stage presence and live performance skills, especially for those serving in church or leading music in community settings. I believe every singer can learn to connect emotionally with songs and share something meaningful through music. Each session is designed to bring out your voice's natural beauty while building technique that lasts. I use warm-ups, vocal exercises, and real-time feedback to help you progress at a comfortable pace. We’ll explore songs that speak to you and make sure your voice stays healthy along the way. My teaching approach blends vocal technique with real-world studio experience. I focus not only on how you sing but how your voice is captured in a recording environment. Lessons include microphone technique, proper posture, and breath control for both live and studio settings. I also teach vocal layering, harmonies, and how to use effects like reverb and delay with intention.
We’ll talk about studio etiquette—how to prepare, communicate with engineers, and stay relaxed during multiple takes. I help students understand the difference between stage singing and studio singing, so they can adjust their delivery with confidence. You’ll learn how to express emotion through the mic and bring clarity to your recordings.
I'm very good with The Music Major and The Suzuki Student, and I guide them to develop strong studio habits and a professional sound. We’ll work on phrasing, dynamics, and tone so every track you record feels polished and expressive. My method builds your awareness as both a performer and a listener. Let’s make your recordings shine, one session at a time.
