About Penelope
I am a violin educator with 8 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance. I enjoy helping students develop strong violin skills while discovering their own creative voice. My teaching combines classical discipline with modern musical creativity to make lessons engaging and meaningful.
I teach essential techniques such as bowing, vibrato, phrasing, tone control, and musical interpretation across different genres. I believe a strong technical foundation helps students express themselves with confidence and freedom. My lessons are adapted to support each student's learning style, goals, and musical interests.
I prepare students for music examinations by building strong practice habits and improving performance readiness. I also provide orchestral mentorship by developing ensemble skills, listening ability, and confidence while playing with others. One student improved their performance skills after working on tone quality and expressive playing through regular lessons.
I welcome students of all levels and enjoy guiding them through every stage of their musical journey. My aim is to create a positive space where students feel motivated to learn and grow. I look forward to helping you develop your violin skills and enjoy the experience of making music.

My violin lessons are designed to build strong technique, confidence, and emotional connection with music. I focus on performance skills, ear training, posture, bow control, and finger technique to create a strong foundation. Each lesson is planned according to the student's goals, interests, and current abilities.
I help students improve their musical expression by focusing on phrasing, dynamics, and understanding the story behind each piece. Creative activities and performance exercises help students become more comfortable sharing their music with others. I also guide students in developing a personal style while respecting the original character of each composition.
Students who enjoy expressive performances and meaningful music receive support in building confidence and stage presence. I include listening exercises, practice routines, and technique-building activities to improve overall musicianship. I have seen students become more confident when they understand how to connect their emotions with their playing.
My teaching approach encourages curiosity, creativity, and steady progress. My goal is to help every learner become a skilled violinist who performs with confidence and genuine musical expression.
