I am a violin tutor with over 8 years of experience and hold an Associate of Music in String Performance, specializing in violin. My passion lies in Nordic folk violin traditions, including Norwegian Fiddle, Swedish Fiddle, and Klezmer music. I love teaching the unique ornamentation and rhythmic bowing patterns that make these styles so vibrant and expressive. My lessons focus heavily on ear-based learning, helping students develop a natural feel for the music. I often use folk jam tracks and drone tuners to create an immersive learning environment.
