About Noor

I am a Neuroscience Honors student at UNSW with a passion for learning and helping others achieve their goals. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong appreciation for the impact that effective teaching and support can have on a student’s confidence and progress.

I have always loved learning, and ultimately, that is why I enjoy tutoring so much. I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of a student’s journey as they overcome challenges, develop confidence, and discover their own enjoyment of learning.

Through my studies in Neuroscience, I have gained insight into how students learn and retain information, which allows me to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s needs. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students achieve better results, but also to inspire curiosity, independence, and a lasting confidence in their abilities.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual learning style, strengths, and goals. As a Neuroscience Honours student at UNSW, I incorporate evidence-based learning techniques to improve understanding, memory, and long-term retention. My lessons are engaging, interactive, and focused on building confidence through clear explanations, guided problem-solving, and plenty of practice rather than simple memorisation.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are personalised to each student's needs. Whether you are catching up on difficult topics, preparing for exams, or aiming to achieve higher grades, I adapt my teaching approach to help you succeed. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to think critically, develop strong study habits, and become more independent learners.

I have over two years of tutoring experience teaching Mathematics and Science to students from Year 3 to Year 11 across Australia. Having achieved an ATAR well above 90 and now studying Neuroscience at UNSW, I understand the challenges students face and the strategies that lead to academic success. My goal is not only to help students improve their results but also to foster confidence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
