About Brooke

Health and wellness is my life. It's easy for me to help you because these are things I am already doing and have been doing for years now. I'm a very bubbly, friendly individual. I love giving others the support they need to incorporate the changes they wish to make. As a teacher, I hope to learn with you and help you navigate your own experience and provide wisdom from things I have learned on my own journey.

What I enjoy about the work that I do is that health and wellness is the foundation for everything and I feel that helping others make changes in this area can improve all other areas of their lives. You're not going to start a new business or chase your dream if you're in chronic pain or dealing with anxiety. It's hard to feel satisfied with life if you aren't tending to your own well-being. So in that way, I think this is extremely transofrmative work, and your relationship with yourself dictates everything else in your life.

When you find something that you're truly passionate about, I think it's natural to begin to want to share that knowledge with others. Teaching is something that has come very naturally to me, and it's my pleasure being able to connect with others over the topics I care about.

I have an Associates Degree in General Science, focused on health. I am a certified Health Coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I have my 200 Hour RYT through Citizen Yoga in Detroit. I was a Vegan Sous Chef, have been vegan for 4 years and gluten free for 5.

About the lesson

I first like to spend the first session getting to know you a bit more and figure out what your specific goals are and why you are looking to hire a coach. From there we build a plan together and work to meet those goals.

I've worked with students of all levels. I personally love working with people who are just getting started in yoga, just getting started with meditation, just now thinking about experimenting with vegan or gluten free diets. I think when you're first starting out with anything new, it can be so impactful to have someone to help guide you through it and be there to support you while you're getting your footing and adjusting to these new amazing changes you're making.
