About Susan

I offer yoga classes for all ages and body types. My passion and expertise is in gentle hatha, pre-/postnatal yoga, Mini and Me yoga (for parents and toddlers) and family yoga.

Yoga Alliance RYT-200, Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher, CPR certified, children's yoga certified, ZenBarre certified

I enjoy sharing the benefits of yoga as a healthy lifestyle, to help people achieve optimal wellbeing on and off the mat.

I had been practicing yoga asana for a decade, when I decided, after a devastating family loss, that I wanted to deepen my knowledge of yoga. My training has given me so many amazing tools to cope with challenges, big or small, on and off my yoga mat. Since then I have been able to expland my knowledge and have earned certifications in prenatal yoga, children's yoga, and ZenBarre.

I am always a student and have been practicing yoga for over a decade. I am trained in alignment-based yoga and have earned my 200-hr certificate from the College of Purna Yoga in 2017. I am also a Yoga Alliance registered prenatal yoga teacher, and currently enrolled in a childbirth educator training to deepen my knowledge and passion for supporting women and families in the childbearing years. Additionally, I hold certifications in kids yoga and ZenBarre. Besides that I am a mother myself and have experience and practiced yoga with each of my babies.

Men and women, from their early 20s to their 60s and beyond, seeking to lengthen, strengthen and quiet their minds in a gentler yoga practice than that of a vigorous exercise routine; Pregnant and postpartum mothers, parents and toddlers, families with school-age children

I created Mini and Me yoga classes for parents/caregivers and their little ones from 6-24 months, a fun and interactive yoga practice that incorporates yoga postures for both grownups and their minis.
