About Hazel

Hi! My name is Hazel.

I’m a STEM girlie currently studying Civil Engineering, and I’ve been tutoring math since high school. With 5 years of tutoring experience, a 94.45 ATAR, and a background teaching students from ages 5 to 17 (including special needs kids), I love helping students feel capable and confident in their work.

Alongside my engineering studies, I’ve also worked as a formal Visual Arts teacher at an art center. Now, I teach art privately for students who want to build skills and explore their creativity, without the rigid, structured pressure of a traditional center.

Having gone through the HSC myself, I hated tutoring that felt like an extra high-pressure class. I promise no "omg I need to be super smart" vibes here! I’m chill, friendly, patient, and focused on making learning engaging and stress-free.

My lessons are 100% tailored to what YOU need. There is no rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum or boring extra pressure.

Visual Learning: I use custom diagrams and step-by-step visual methods to make abstract math concepts make sense and to develop your artistic skills naturally.

Supportive & Inclusive: With experience teaching neurodivergent and special needs students, I adapt my communication style to fit how your brain works best.

️ Lesson Details & Who It’s For
Lesson Length: Standard lessons are 1 hour, but I am completely flexible depending on age and focus level.

Location: Online (easy and flexible from home).

Who It’s For: Dedicated K–12 students (ages 5–17) of all abilities—from early primary learners needing foundational support, to creative art students, to high schoolers wanting specialized HSC math help, who are ready to make the most of their opportunities!
