About Autumn

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a focus on piano, combining strong academic training with practical experience in jazz, pop, and classical styles. Over the past fourteen years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching students of all ages, from school-aged beginners to adults looking to improve their skills. My approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s goals, whether they want to prepare for exams, learn their favorite songs, or develop a deeper understanding of music. I believe learning piano should be enjoyable and rewarding. I focus on building solid technique while encouraging creativity and expression. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to support your musical journey every step of the way. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a lifelong love for music. Together, we’ll work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. With a mix of structured lessons and fun, engaging activities, I make sure every session is productive and inspiring. I look forward to helping you unlock your full potential on the piano.

About the lesson

My piano teaching approach is designed to help students shine in performances, competitions, and recordings. I focus on building strong posture and hand technique to ensure comfort and control at the piano. Together, we work on phrasing and expression, bringing the music to life with feeling and clarity. Stage presence is an important part of my coaching—I guide students on how to connect with their audience confidently and naturally.

For recording, I introduce digital tools like DAWs and audio analysis apps. These help students understand their sound and improve with detailed feedback. Whether preparing for formal exams or playing in a church setting, I tailor lessons to support each student’s goals. I encourage them to develop a deep connection with the music and build the skills needed to perform with confidence.

My aim is to create a positive and motivating learning space. With focused guidance and consistent practice, students gain the tools to excel and enjoy every step of their musical journey.
