About Haneka
As an educator of 11 years, my absolute favorite role has been partnering with homeschooling families as their long-term teacher. I love it when students don't just memorize steps, but actually understand the 'why' behind them and connect it to how they see everything else. Watching them move from a place of frustration to total clarity is incredibly rewarding.
Beyond one-on-one academic teaching, I also love working with groups. I regularly facilitate team-building events and leadership training programs for companies, cooperatives, and churches. When I am not teaching or running training sessions, my biggest personal passion is singing and songwriting.

Hi, I'm Haneka! I’ve been tutoring and homeschooling for about 11 years now, and with a background in Applied Physics, my main goal is to make Math and Science a lot less intimidating. I work with students all the way from Primary up to Year 12, and I also do SAT prep (which is equivalent to the HSC/ATAR track).
I don't believe in just memorizing formulas to pass a test. Instead, my approach is pretty straightforward: we break down the tricky, confusing concepts into simple, logical steps until it finally clicks!
Our sessions usually run for about 60 to 90 minutes. I find that’s the sweet spot that gives us enough time to go over schoolwork, clear up any confusing topics, and practice exam questions without rushing or feeling overwhelmed with information. Whether you're trying to catch up or just want to nail your top rankings, we'll move at whatever pace works best for you!
