About Kathryn
I have been teaching music lessons since 2015 and I have taught students of varying ages and ability levels. I enjoy teaching all styles and genres of music. I am currently finishing my last semester of college. I attend Ithaca College and am studying music education with a concentration in violin. My NYS teacher certification is expected in May 2022. I am very passionate about teaching music. I provide individualized instruction because no two students are the same. I enjoy working with my students and getting to teach music.
I have had 7 semesters of college training and been through 2 student teaching placements. I have taught freelance violin lessons since 2015, and have taught viola and cello lessons through a music store since 2020. I have been involved in peer music theory tutoring since 2017.
