About Nancy
I am a highly qualified, experienced former high school English teacher who now enjoys tutoring students online and in person. I am an encouraging, energetic, and compassionate tutor who loves working with students of all abilities and backgrounds. For the past seventeen years, I have tutored college, high school, and ESL students, along with younger students who need to improve their writing, reading, and speaking skills. One of my favorite quotes by William B. Yeats is: Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. I love helping people and enjoy making people feel more confident; you will be thrilled with your results!
