About Audrey

With 12 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in teaching guitar to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. My teaching style is rooted in positivity, patience, and a personalized approach. I believe in making lessons fun and engaging while focusing on building a strong technical foundation. I use innovative methods, such as interactive chord progressions, improvisation exercises, and ear training, to enhance students' skills and musicality. I also incorporate music theory and composition to help students understand the “why” behind what they play, not just the “how.” My goal is to help each student develop their unique sound and musical voice, guiding them to express themselves with confidence through the guitar. Whether you're learning to play your favorite songs or tackling more complex techniques, I aim to foster a passion for music that lasts a lifetime.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for guitar is built on positivity, diplomacy, and integrity, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. I believe that every student has their own pace and style, so I adapt my lessons to fit their individual needs. By focusing on positive reinforcement, I aim to inspire confidence and foster a love for playing, regardless of skill level. Diplomacy plays a key role in my approach, as I communicate openly with my students, listen to their goals, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Beyond guitar, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and song composition.
