About Carolina

Hello, I am Carolina! I am an experienced international exams tutor and teaching assistant, having often aced different standardized tests, such as the TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, and SAT. I have taken the TOEFL more than three times, always scoring above 100, and achieved high scores in the GMAT and GRE multiple times. Combined with my background in financial math and logistics and more than 6 years as a teaching assistant and tutor for hundreds of college students, I have developed proven strategies and tools to help students confidently tackle every section of their exams. I hold an MBA, and I am deeply familiar with the perks of the application process to top international universities, including the broad set of standardized test options. What I love most about teaching is connecting with fantastic people from all over the globe and helping them transform challenging goals into real accomplishments. In addition to exam prep, I also offer tutoring in math (any level), financial math, English, and Spanish (language skills and communication). Whether you are preparing for the GMAT, GRE, TOEFL, or SAT, my approach is personalized and results-driven. I begin by identifying your strengths, areas of improvement, and learning style to tailor a strategy that fits your goals and schedule. I combine different methodologies with high-quality practice materials to help you master core concepts, manage test dynamics effectively, and build test-taking confidence.

During our first lesson, we will get to know each other, discuss your exam interests and objectives, and solve exercises together to assess your current level. Based on this, I will propose you a custom learning plan that maps out your preparation path. With each lesson and practice exercise, I will help you grasp new concepts and break down complex topics into something approachable and achievable, and we will regularly assess your progress to ensure steady improvement.

What makes my tutoring unique is my holistic and supportive approach. I don't just prepare you for a test, I help you develop the mindset, strategy, and confidence needed for success. I also offer guidance in school shortlisting, application essays, and other aspects of the admissions process to boost your overall competitiveness.
