About Sydney
When teaching your child, I make sure to take a holistic approach and factor in any internal and environmental factors that could also contribute to the childs learning process. I strive to make sure each child fully understands material in a way that stays. I love to teach others, and I have a passion for helping the whole of the individual.
I have always loved to teach, from anything to everything. I have always been one to constantly learn and I continue to learn every day. Learning and sharing what I have learned has always been a passion because It leads to understanding. I think the world needs more understanding.
The areas/subjects that I offer services in are areas that I am very proficient in and have taken multiple high school or college courses over in the past. I got my Associate's Degree out of High School and have been working towards my Bachelor's. As for my holistic approach, I encorporate a similiar approach that I have learned in school for occupational therapy.

First I meet with the parents to introduce myself, establish goals for the student, as well as a timeline, and any other needed information.
The first session, I will offer 15 minutes free of time prior to starting work, for the child and I to get to know eachother and talk about areas of difficulty, as well as take a learning style questionnaire.
I have worked with teaching special needs children in school and in a clinical setting as a student OTA. I am comfortable with working with all types of people.
