About Damuel

Even though my bachelor is in Agricultural Sciences I have taken various classes on pedagogy providing me necessary skills on education from an educator’s point of view. In addition, having various college courses on Chemistry, Biology, Spanish, English and many other provides me the necessary expertise to help others to achieve their academic or personal goals. Also being involved with many organizations as FFA, 4H, Being an Eagle scout with the Boy Scouts of America and other experiences provide excellent training for any undergoing professional challenge that I may encounter.

About the lesson

The first and most important step is getting to know the student, being able to do the initial bond is an important key factor on learning. Finding key differences and things in common that could be used as a learning leverage in the future. Helping the students learn with things that they like goes a longer way than anyone could ever imagine.

Coming from a different preparation than typical teachers my type of education experiences are very hands on with different learning scenarios for the students. I have worked with student from all ages, adapting to the specific challenges that the specific group showed. Being an educator is much more than theories and academic learning its being a step on the students ladder to help them achieve their goals.

Last summer I moved over 1,000 miles overseas to start a new job, this was in a new environment with a different language, a new culture that changed every aspect of my life. Even though it was a difficult journey it makes me happy to see what I have been able to achieve in such a small time. During that time, I have built resilience, gained creativity, and learned valuable skills while gaining lifelong friends and invaluable memories that shape my way to see the world.
