About Dayana
Beyond my patience and love to help others, I like to see this as an opportunity to teach spanish in an useful way. I love working with relevant, real information and with cultural context.
What I enjoy most is what it represents: a bridge between different cultures. I like to see teaching a language as an opportunity for a cultural exchange
Voluntarily in an NGO and in a church. From there I have traveled interpreting, translating at events or giving consultancies so that people can communicate when visiting my country.
In terms of teaching I have worked with young children or adolescents to improve their speech. But I also have experience translating in the field, writing, interpreting and more.

I like to get to know the person and understand what their goal is in learning the language. According to that, I search for topics of interest that can help you achieve this goal.
Young adults.
If you expect a structured and clearly grammatical work, I prefer to be honest and say that I'm not 100% into that. I think about it as how you would daily used the language if you moved to another country.
If you could pick any. I would choose the chance to be able to travel again as an interpreter. COVID stopped that and was impossible to do it. I see these experiences, not only as a job, but as opportunities of learning.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If it is something to which they are willing to commit, not only in session, but also in their day to day.
